Application Fees

  • $135 for US Citizens and Permanent Residents
  • $155 for International Applicants

Program Fees

Master of Public Health (Self-supporting Professional Degree)

Program costs will be assessed on a per-unit basis. California residents will qualify for a California Resident Fellowship, which will reduce their per-unit costs. Current projected program fees for 2023-2024 are as follows:

  • Non-California Resident Per-Unit Cost: $1082
  • California Resident Per-Unit Effective Cost: $662

California residency is determined by the University. Residence for Tuition Purposes

  • Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final.  Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate.  Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented.
  • The per-unit cost does not include UCSD graduate student fees. 
  • The per-unit cost does not include student health insurance. UCSD's graduate student health insurance is projected to cost $1470 per quarter for the 2023-2024 academic year.
  • Projected costs do not include housing, parking, course materials, or other costs of attendance.
