Profile
Dr. Lin Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health, Division of Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics.

Research
Dr. Liu’s statistical methodology research includes three areas a) developing efficient methodologies in detecting the difference between dose-response means especially to identify minimum effective dose in dose-response and toxicity studies, b) developing new research methodology and statistical software in analysis of longitudinal HIV viral load data, and c) developing prognostic models in colorectal cancer research. As a collaborative biostatistician, Dr. Liu has worked in the area of cancer, cardiovascular disease, hepatitis C, chronic pain, HIV, infectious disease epidemiology, drug and alcohol abuse, sleep apnea, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury (TBI), psychiatric disorder, telemedicine etc.
