Linda McEvoy, PhD

Linda McEvoy, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Radiology and in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health, Division of Epidemiology. She is co-director of the Women’s Health Center of Excellence and Associate Director of the Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute Center for Life Course Research.

Dr. McEvoy is a Principal Investigator on the Rancho Bernardo Study (RBS) of Healthy Aging, a longitudinal cohort study that was initiated in 1972. Dr. McEvoy’s current research focuses on elucidating behavioral and clinical moderators of trajectories of cognitive decline with age, and determining how these factors affect brain morphology and microstructure. She also studies biomarkers for early detection of Alzheimer’s disease.
