Deborah Kado, MD, MS

Deborah Kado, MD, MS is a Professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, Division of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Kado graduated from Cornell University Medical College, completed her residency in internal medicine, served as chief resident, and then did post-residency fellowships in clinical research at UCSF and in geriatrics at UCLA. She subsequently completed a Master of Sciences Degree in Epidemiology at the UCLA School of Public Health.

Dr. Kado is an internist and geriatrician with a primary research focus on osteoporosis and the related disorder hyperkyphosis. She is a successfully funded National Institute's of Health researcher and is internationally recognized in her field of expertise.
